Susan and Martin - even after 10 years of being and creating together - feel like their love for photography and the things they get to capture in their work, is only growing. And yet, compared to all the amazing friendships and experiences they get through it, the images almost seem as a memorable byproduct to them. 

They look for poetics that life creates on its own, and are inspired by stories of the people who kindly let them in. If at least some of it can be captured on film, they know it will have a personal feel as they enjoy so much getting up from the computer and go make some photos with their hands. They get inspired by the intuitive and unrestricted creativity of children, by painters and by photographers like Josef Koudelka seeing and capturing humanity in a split second.

She has always been attracted by beauty in all its forms, as a child growing up in a small countryside her contemplated nature and always brought home wildflowers with some small new friends, usually they were snails. The artistic career started behind the backstage of fashion and tv, as a professional make-up artist, and this aspect of fashion to this day is an important part of her creative path.
