The play of light, shadows, layers, materials and century old history. We adore the magic and elegance of old Castles - more than a location, an artwork of architecture and interior design in itself. The elaborate details nourish and replenish our soul’s craving for beauty and we can’t help but think of truly elegant, timeless wedding celebrations taking place at a location like this. Each room feels like a lovingly crafted backdrop in itself, a scene worth preserving. A creative bubble, a retreat, a refresh and deeply nourishing quality time, great food, shared knowledge and new friendships, no stage and portfolio shoots that actually speak to potential clients.
It doesn't matter if you are just stepping into this industry or are already having an established business. All speakers will openly share their business models, their mistakes and advice, their stories and hearts to really connect with you, no matter your skill level or artistic style. The speakers themselves have been in the industry for very differing timespans and we believe that the more diverse of a group we are, the more we can learn from each other. As Oscar Castro once said - don’t compare your chapter 2 with someone’s chapter 20. And there will be people from all those different chapters helping each other to the next one.
IS THIS THE RIGHT WORKSHOP FOR ME?
Authentic castle as our shooting location from Saturday to Wednesday at Château de la Flocellière. Crumbling stone walls and towers dating back to the 11th century form a moody autumnal backdrop near Nantes. Surrounded by 30 hectares of idyllic landscape with ancient cedar and redwood trees, a river and a lake, the château carries over 900 years of history in its textures, light and shadows. Its beautiful interiors will become the heart of our time together — home to shared meals, shoots and late-night conversations with new friends from around the world. We can’t wait to see what we will collectively create and the memories we’ll carry from this place.
