Mรถller began making photographs in 2017, and over the years his work has evolved from traditional street documentation into a more intuitive and subjective practice. โ€œWe finished up this - I want to swear so much right now - but this ridiculously insane, creative, inspiring, just absolutely life-changing workshop. I've never felt so connected to a group of strangers in my entire life. The amount of creativity and energy just pouring out of this workshop - I could not -  this was incredible. I could not recommend it enough to photographers, videographers, if you're doing wedding, portraiture, anything - if you want to change your life you need to go to the Legacy Workshop. Period. Point blank. This was absolutely incredible.โ€

Koko King / Hastings & King

With seven editions of LEGACY behind us, we feel the completion of a cycle and we truly canโ€™t wait to see what emerges next.

More and more we strive to put the emphasis on the evolution of the self as an artist - acknowledging the multitude of layers, complexities and depths we all carry - to connect to and create from in a safe and experimental space. Getting closer to our truth and authenticity.

Merging dreams and reality, LEGACY is about creating our own dreamworld, opening the horizon across photographic genres and inhaling inspiration from unique creators. At the center a vision of connection, romance and the poetry of nostalgia - infusing our minds with an extra dose of magic, presence and play.

Crumbling stone walls and towers dating back to the 11th century will create one of our moody autumnal backdrops for our photographic adventures at this Chateau in the southeast of Nantes. With 200 year old trees, cedar and redwood, a river and a lake, the Chateau is set in 30 hectars of idyllic landscapes. For over 900 years, each era left itโ€™s mark on this heritage and we cannot wait to immerse ourselves in its history and charme. Bringing our vision and creativity, being inspired by its textures, lights and shadows and becoming a part of its own impressive story. Combined with the beautiful interiors, the Chateau de la Flocelliรจre will be the heart and home for all our shared meals, shoots and late night talks with new friends from around the globe. We cannot wait to see what weโ€˜ll collectively bring to life here and the treasured memories we will share forever.

โ€žWhat I love about creating here is that you can really just...have fun! It reminded me of something that I knew deep inside, that I should keep making art for myself, that I need to, really. "

"Leaving Paris more inspired than l've ever been.
More on fire than I've ever been.
More determined than I've ever been.
Leaving with a full heart and a world of
opportunity ahead of me."

Jessica Fenon / Valor & Vine

The artistโ€™s journey is deeply personal. And as one of our friends and great photographer Oscar Castro once said: โ€žDonโ€™t compare your chapter two to someone elseโ€™s chapter 20โ€œ - which is to say that we are all on our way. And if we are lucky, we come across someone or something that helps us to take the next step on our very own path. Thatโ€™s the underlying understanding at LEGACY.
We invite the mentors we are faszinated by. Encouraging them to authentically share their experiences, knowledge and perspective in the way they find most compelling. From the heart. It is an honor to be met with the trust of these deeply engaged artists and to learn and grow together in an intimate setting - where the sharing doesnโ€™t end after the presentation, but carries on through private chats by the fireplace, editing together and creating real connections.

โ€œIt's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see.โ€
Henry David Thoreau

I need passion. I need intensity. I need fire and fury. It's why | can't settle for doing what's "easy" or "expected." It's why I'm always searching for more, never satisfied.
This week in France gave me a deeper taste of that intensity l've always sought after. It was a high I've yet to come down from. I've continued to be inspired by its power ever since.

โ€žDuring the days I was at Legacy Workshop,
there was magic everywhere."

Elisa Bessa

โ€œWhat can I say! I absolutely loved every moment of LEGACY. I loved spending time with you both. I loved the warm welcomes, inspiring chats (crazy, wild and interesting chats), the margaritas, the learning, the open-minded souls you brought together. I loved the safe space and explorative mindset you fostered with everyone there. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you...for asking me three times to be a speaker and I couldn't be happier I said yes. It was such a highlight of 2024 and I carried home lots of learnings, new friendships and amazing memories. โ€

Joakim Mรถller (born 1999) is a Stockholm-based photographer celebrated for his distinctive approach to fine art street photography that blends candid urban moments with experimental visual expression.

Mรถller began making photographs in 2017, and over the years his work has evolved from traditional street documentation into a more intuitive and subjective practice. Alejandra Vidal is a director, filmmaker, and storyteller seeking to unearth beauty and intimacy. She believes our deepest connections are found in the quiet spacesโ€”where light meets shadow, where love and longing coexist, felt as much as witnessed. Her approach is feminine, artful, and deeply sensitive, inviting viewers into a sensory journey that transcends traditional storytelling. To Alejandra, filmmaking is about honoring what we long to feel and revealing lifeโ€™s quiet, unseen moments.

Puck Verheul (B. 1997, NL) is an artisanal image maker from the Netherlands who works at the intersection of photography and photoengraving.
Since graduating cum laude from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute, she cultivated a language that seeks a highly graphic form, a passage for her subjects to linger between the ere and the eternal.

Through the use of light-sensitive metal plates, Verheul sees each etching as a pictorial chamber encapsulating figures and still lifes. The monochromatic traces of ink settle as an antiquated patina upon her etchings, enclosing timeโ€™s ambiguity within the paper. Drawing from historical costume and preservation, she removes chronology from archetypes and memorabilia, impressing them with a sense of the sublime; an eden where poise and phantasm coexist.

Weโ€™re Ronja and Victor, the founders of LEGACY โ€” created to build the kind of experience we once searched for ourselves: romantic, nostalgic, and a little bit magical.
Since 2015, weโ€™ve blended sensuality and cinematic storytelling into our work and have been honored as Hasselblad Masters and Rangefinder Grand Prize Winners. Today, we pour that passion into creating meaningful events where we share openly, grow together, and help you embrace your bold, unique voice.

At LEGACY we strive to create aesthetically unique photo sessions to spike curiosity and artistic exploration. โ€จAn invitation to play, experiment, practice and be inspired without pressure.
Every session is styled in an organic process, involving the full creative team, to create visual depth and deeply nourishing beauty to bring our dreamworld to life.
Through shooting in small groups of up to six people, with the soft guidance of our mentors, we encourage everyone to explore new perspectives and media to uncover more of their own artistic language.
Rather than creating a normed and stylized editorial shoot in a fixed set, we prioritize the personal interpretation of the sessions through the attendees eyes and lenses. Supported through working with different couples and single models, a location with endless opportunities and alongside mentors from different genres and backgrounds. Creating creative opportunities for photo and video artists to explore portraiture, couple and fine art contexts.
For the love of photography.

Hannah Antmann, better known under the name SAINT FLORAL is one of the most extraordinary florists you will ever find. Based in London, with a background in Fine Art, Hannah brings a distinctly romantic, ethereal and painterly aesthetic to her floral artistry. Weaving floral arrangements along staircases, crawling up stone walls, organically fusing nature into surrounding elements.

"Muse & Mirror's work looked surreal and modelled to perfection but with real couples and moments."

โ€œSaying that it was an amazing four days is simply not enough. We were talking all way back home about how this event blew our minds. We were attending workshops before, but none of them were like Legacy. We cannot wait to create new stuff. We are so inspired and have so many cool ideas!โ€โ€“ Nina & Darek
